A few pages.
A useful next step.
Organize PDFs and convert supported documents locally on Windows. Review the new file, with your original kept separately.
Work with the pages.
Or the content inside.
Preparing a PDF and reconstructing an editable document are different tasks. Citrus has page tools for PDFs and local conversion routes for applicable Office, EPUB, HTML, Markdown, text and image workflows.
Use the tool that matches the change you need. Reordering a PDF does not reconstruct its source document. Turning a scanned page into editable content involves recognition and review, not exact recovery of the original layout.

Keep the page work together.
- Organize and export
- Use PDF thumbnails, page selection, ordering, rotation, duplication and removal. Split or export the pages needed for the next file.
- Compress and inspect
- Separate PDF tools cover compression and metadata. Review the requested settings and the completed result before replacing a document in your workflow.
- Reconstruct editable content
- Supported PDF conversions can produce DOCX, PPTX and XLSX content from recoverable text, tables, layout and images, with OCR for scanned material.
Documents, without an upload step.
Office and EPUB conversion uses the local offline engines included with the preview package. The choices shown depend on the selected input and the applicable route, rather than a promise that every listed format converts to every other one.
A Pages destination is labeled Pages-compatible DOCX and produces a .docx file. It does not produce a native .pages package or rename a DOCX file to look like one.
- Open Citrus and choose Open workspace.
- Add a PDF or supported document stored locally on your PC.
- Choose an available format in Convert or a page operation in Tools.
- Review selections and settings, create the separate output and inspect its pages or editable content.
Read the reconstructed result.
Editable reconstruction is not exact source recovery. Complex layouts, fonts, reading order, tables and OCR recognition can differ. Check the content against your original, especially names, numbers and scanned text.
Encrypted PDFs are not supported. Damaged or unusual files can be rejected. Keep backups, read warnings on the completed job and open the exported document in the app you intend to use.
