A small setup.
A local workspace.

  1. Review this preview. Check its version, requirements and known limits below.
  2. Download the verified installer. Compare its SHA-256 with the value above when available. In PowerShell, Get-FileHash .Citrus-Setup.exe -Algorithm SHA256 prints the file hash.
  3. Quit any earlier Citrus instance. Use Quit in the system tray before installing or updating. The installer does not force-close your app.
  4. Run Citrus-Setup.exe as your normal Windows user. The app installs under your user account. No administrator rights are required.
  5. Open Citrus and add a file. Choose Open workspace, then a format or tool. Start with a copy of nonessential material while exploring the preview.

This is an unsigned preview, so Windows may show an unrecognized-publisher warning. Check the release source, hash and file details before deciding whether to install. Keep Windows security protections enabled.

Windows 11 x64 is the recommended and locally tested platform. The technical project minimum is Windows 10 build 19041; that minimum does not establish clean-machine acceptance on every Windows version. The package includes its own .NET runtime and local conversion engines; you do not need a developer SDK or a separate codec install.

The full offline pack expands to about 3.1 GB. Allow additional space for the installer, temporary files and updates.

Launch at sign-in is optional. Closing the launcher leaves Citrus in the tray; choose Quit to stop it.

A preview, with clear limits.

This is not a stable-release or universal compatibility claim. Broad automated output checks and bounded native reviews have passed. Explorer drag combinations, mixed-monitor scaling, recovery from every editor error and installation on a clean PC are still being qualified. Some startup timing targets remain open.

Some opening timing targets are still missed. Larger files need source verification and preview preparation. Protected, damaged, encrypted or unusual files may be rejected. Keep backups and check the exported result.

Live desktop glass prioritizes the desktop behind the wheel. Recording or screen-sharing software can omit that excluded wheel surface. Menus and editors use ordinary white content surfaces.
