0.3.0-preview.1
Public preview · October 21, 2026
The current interface is shown in the product film and demonstrations. They are edited presentations using real native UI, rather than a live Explorer recording.

More room to work.
A smaller wheel and compact initial menu sizes leave room for the rest of your desktop. White surfaces, dark text, centered titles and right-side close buttons keep the native editors consistent. Tool controls scroll while their actions stay reachable.
The wheel uses pale petals, solid orange selection and one continuous glass backing. The page control stays close; gaps retain the last highlight.
A real view of your video.
Video tools show decoded playback and source-exact frame navigation. Trim uses direct range handles and a playhead instead of a numeric start/end form. Crop keeps the full source visible while its boundary changes. Compression, metadata, mute, speed, snapshot, split, redact and resize use focused video views.
Paused video prepares a poster without full audio processing. Source sessions, preview bitmaps and bounded timestamp windows are reused. Loading notices stay inside the picture, leaving its size and editing handles undisturbed.
Useful beyond a format change.
- Images: light and color adjustments, crop, annotate, redact, background styling, compression and metadata.
- Audio: waveform trimming, Bleep ranges, Channels, normalization, visualization, compression and metadata.
- PDFs: page organization, split/export, compression, metadata and editable reconstruction with OCR for scanned material.
- Documents: local Office and EPUB conversions. Pages destinations produce clearly labeled Pages-compatible DOCX files.
- Archives: repack members into the selected container and extract compound TAR/GZIP archives in one operation.
What still needs qualification.
Passing backend tests does not establish complete native acceptance. Explorer drag combinations, monitors with different scaling, audio feedback, editor recovery and opening times still need broader qualification. Some measured startup tails miss the current frame budget; the preview is not advertised as delay-free.
PDF reconstruction depends on recoverable source text, tables, images and layout. OCR and conversion can lose formatting or misread content; review the result. A container extension does not guarantee every codec inside it. The format notes describe important boundaries.
The installer is unsigned. Clean-machine qualification and third-party redistribution records must be reviewed separately from local app tests. Availability above reflects the actual release metadata.
Help make the next version better.
Send a concise reproduction with your Citrus version, Windows version, operation and exact error. Remove private paths and personal information. A small nonprivate sample can help when a file-specific problem cannot otherwise be reproduced.
