For listening.
For sharing. For keeping.

Convert audio locally on Windows, or open a focused waveform tool. Save a separate output and keep your source close.

A different format.
A deliberate edit.

Choose an audio format for its destination, or make a specific change before sharing it. Citrus processes the source on your computer; there is no conversion account or file-upload step.

Audio outputs include MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, OGG, Opus, AIFF and WMA. Available choices depend on the complete file selection and the actual media streams. Changing an extension is not the same as establishing compatibility or improving the source quality.

Open the workspace for Convert and Tools, or read the separate drag-wheel instructions if you prefer that workflow.

to the sound.

Trim with a waveform
Select a range using handles, audition it and apply the edit. Check the start and end of the saved copy as well as its total duration.
Bleep a chosen moment
Bleep provides separate audio and range lanes, selectable ranges and Original/With Bleeps audition. Save Bleeped Copy becomes available once a range exists.
Choose channels and level
Channels offers Mono/Stereo, gains and channel auditions. Other tools include normalization, compression, metadata and visualization.

Bleep ranges and other edits are choices you make. They are not automatic detection of speech, private details or sensitive material.

Listen before you save.
And once after.

  1. Open Citrus, choose Open workspace and add a local audio file.
  2. Use Convert for an available output format or select an audio operation in Tools.
  3. Review the offered settings. Use the waveform and audition controls where the tool provides them.
  4. Apply or save the operation, then open the separate output to check its sound, channels and duration.

Conversions and edits use collision-safe names. Moving an original is a separate file action; keep important source material backed up.

Leave room for the file’s limits.

A target size can be unattainable while preserving the requested format, channels, dimensions or duration. Citrus checks the actual output bytes and can report that the goal cannot be reached. Try a different target or a supported quality setting instead of assuming a smaller number always works.

A supported extension does not guarantee every stream inside it. If an operation is missing, try a single local file and read the job or repair information. Larger files may need preparation before their waveform or preview is ready.
